Welcome
We are glad you are here. Lafayette is a great place to live. As we face uncertainty around us, we can work to keep Lafayette a place where everyone is welcome and where people of all ages can find a well-run city with many opportunities for recreation, services, and economic growth, as well as a variety of housing types.
We are hosting a house concert to benefit our campaign with an awesome local band called Pennies from Heaven on September 21st. See the events page for further information.
It's Official - Annmarie is on the Ballot
We are officially on the ballot. We turned in our signatures on Friday August 15th and the City Clerk has ratified that we have enough to qualify for the ballot. Thanks to everyone who signed, and everyone who helped collect signatures.
Annmarie is running for City Council to help Lafayette achieve its greenhouse gas reduction goals, create a livable community with housing for all, and support an economy that provides jobs, opportunity, and equity, especially for those who are often marginalized. She’s committed to preserving what makes Lafayette special while helping shape a future that protects the rights of our diverse community. This includes expanding transit options and promoting bike- and pedestrian-friendly design to reduce vehicle miles traveled. Our candidate supports outdoor spaces and public lands that are protected and well-stewarded.
Check out the "About" page to learn more about Annmarie and the breadth of experience that she brings to the table.
City of Lafayette

Parks and Recreation
Let's keep expanding opportunities in Lafayette to enjoy the outdoors.

Transportation
The City maintains roadways and sidewalks and bike lanes. We need to expand transit and link non-motorized forms of travel, so an automobile is not our only choice.

Housing
Lafayette can do more to meet the housing needs of middle and lower income residents.
